We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Recruiter to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 0 to 1 years of experience in end-to-end US recruitment, particularly in the automotive engineering domain. This role demands a strong understanding of US hiring practices, work authorizations, C2C models, and contingent workforce platforms like Fieldglass or Ariba.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer closure for US-based roles.
  • Source and engage candidates using job boards, internal databases, and networking tools.
  • Specialize in engineering recruitment with a focus on automotive industry roles.
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, availability, and US work authorization status (US Citizen, GC, H1B, etc.).
  • Work during US hours to ensure real-time coordination with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Experience working with C2C contractors and managing contingent workforce tools (Fieldglass, Ariba, etc.).
  • Handle onboarding paperwork and background check coordination.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in ATS and ensure compliance with US hiring norms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 0 to 1 years of experience in US recruitment, preferably in a staffing agency environment.
  • Strong domain knowledge in automotive engineering recruitment is preferred.
  • Experience in call-to-closure recruitment for US candidates.
  • Deep understanding of US work visa types and employment models (C2C, W2, 1099).
  • Familiarity with tools like Fieldglass, Ariba, or other VMS platforms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Stable work history – ideally 0 to 1 years with one employer.
  • Experience in onboarding documentation is a plus.
