Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Data Coordinator to support the development, management, and release of CAD data for Front and Rear End Systems within a vehicle product development program. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of CAD data across various development stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • compliance with design standards and project timelines.
  • Manage data uploads, updates, and release processes within the organization’s CAD/PLM environment.
  • Execute part and assembly updates to improve manufacturability, performance, and integration with adjacent systems.
  • Conduct packaging studies and design analyses to validate component fit, clearances, and spatial constraints.
  • Prepare visual media and CAD presentations to support design reviews and engineering discussions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and structured storage of CAD data within the approved data management system.
  • Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve technical issues and incorporate design modifications.
  • Follow established workflows to release and track CAD data throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced user of CATIA V6 and V5.
  • CAD Management: Strong experience in data release, version control, and PLM systems (such as KVS or equivalent).
  • Design Knowledge: Proven background in Front/Rear End System components, including bumpers, crash structures, brackets, and mounting systems.
  • Technical Ability: Experience with sheet metal and plastic component design and assembly structures.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform packaging and interface studies using digital mock-up tools.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Adaptability: Ability to work with global teams and manage deliverables in fast-paced development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive exterior body development programs.
  • Familiarity with vehicle integration processes, design validation methods, and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
  • Working knowledge of engineering data release protocols and change management workflows.
  • Exposure to structural or styling integration for front and rear body zones.
